Isaac & Rebekah
The Union of Consciousness and Subconsciousness
Isaac symbolizes the conscious mind—the awakened desire.
Rebekah represents the subconscious—responsive, impressionable, and creative.
The Law of Assumption in Action
Their union isn’t about romance—it’s a reflection of the law of assumption.
Isaac (desire) doesn't find Rebekah himself. She is chosen and brought to him.
This symbolizes how your conscious choice impresses the subconscious,
and the subconscious then brings forth the manifestation.
Rebekah willingly leaves her land, which demonstrates how the subconscious responds when the conscious mind is firm in its desire and clear in its assumption.
Mind & Heart in Harmony
This is the sacred marriage of mind and heart.
What you accept as true (Isaac), the subconscious (Rebekah) will faithfully outpicture.
Jacob, Rachel & Leah
A Drama of Inner Vision vs Outer Reality
Jacob is the seeker—the one who wrestles with his identity to become Israel (the awakened man).
He desires Rachel, the woman he loves—
symbolizing ideal beauty or perfect vision (your heart’s desire).
But he first marries Leah, her older sister—
symbolizing the less desired, the visible reality.
The Hidden Message
-
Rachel represents the invisible ideal—what you truly want.
-
Leah represents the present condition—what you receive first in the physical world.
Persistence in Faith
To get Rachel, Jacob must persist. He serves longer, stays faithful to the vision, even when reality presents Leah.
Eventually, Jacob marries Rachel too, showing that:
If you remain loyal to your dream, you will possess it.
But you must first accept and bless the Leah (the now) while holding the vision of Rachel (the wish fulfilled).
